damn it feels good to be a gangsta!

I recognize that i'm now venturing to go 2-for-3 with bitchy, 'im-better-than-you' entries.. but such is life.  besides..  on this occasion, im not even bragging about myself.

as i sat in our large, fluorescently-lighted glorified cafeteria this afternoon consuming a less-than satisfying 'salad,' i was party to (and by party to, i mean i eavesdropped) a delightful little chat between two of my (new) favorite lunch ladies..

these bitches know whats up! i'm going to overlook the fact that they were rambling about some stupid play by Rivers during the end of the chargers/jets game this past week, and focus on the fact that two middle-aged women who serve me mac and cheese every day know exceedingly more about (american) football than two out of the last three guys i've dated.. and im erring on the conservative side here.

im not saying that people that elect not to learn about football (or any sport, for that matter) are 'stupid,' but its not helping your case..

what do you even DO on sundays?

i want to be friends with these women..  i bet they make a mean 7-layer bean dip on Superbowl Sunday.. anyway, this was a selfish fluff piece devoted almost entirely to pressing the issue that the FIVE TIME SUPERBOWL CHAMPION SAN FRANCISCO FORTY NINERS are now 5-1 and coming off a bye week to play the browns.. at home.

somehow alex smith isn't blowing every game again.. its a christmas miracle and jim harbaugh is mother effing sandy claws.

this doesn't exactly make up for this sanctimonious rangers/cardinals world series.. but i have every faith in timmy, bwilson, and a healthy posey to turn things around in 2012.. in the meantime.. for the first time in NINE years the niners are on pace for a winning season.. sunday is a lot more funday in the year of the Rabbit..

in short.. im clearly dating the wrong guys, but at least my true love (competitive sports) has gotten a whole lot more frisky in the past eighteen months.
