reTwat this.

while i completely get that the 21st century has already been chalk-full of amazingness (e.g., everything from over-the-counter claritin, the iPhone, the return of high-waisted trousers, and Netflix Instant)..

nothing, however, and i mean nothing, has brought me greater satisfaction and hours of entertainment than the facebook "like" function.  not only does that little button enable us to share our appreciation for a well-phrased quote, a sassy default picture, or the occasional awkardly public breakup, but it is possibly the only remaining outlet in the world of social networking that allows us to channel sarcasm and disgust.

theres nothing quite like the ability to politely give someone the finger with the aptly placed "thumbs up" option that facebook provides under each and every post.  anytime someone's self-loathing or impressively dull status pushes me to the brink of vomiting, i need only "like" the sentiment, as if to say:
No, i fucking don't really "like" hearing that you ate fish tacos at rubios for lunch today.
oh the interweb.. stick around, eh?
